If you want to delete your Instagram account permanently, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Instagram on your mobile app or web browser and log in to your account.

  2. Go to your profile page and click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner.

  3. Click on the "Settings" option at the bottom of the menu.

  4. Scroll down and click on the "Help" option.

  5. Click on the "Help Center" option.

  6. In the "Search" bar, type "Delete Your Account" and select the relevant option from the list of search results.

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to request the deletion of your account.

  8. Enter your password and click on the "Permanently delete my account" button.

  9. Instagram will ask you to provide a reason for deleting your account. Select a reason from the drop-down menu and click on the "Permanently delete my account" button.

  10. Your account will be deleted permanently.

Note that once you delete your account, you won't be able to reactivate it or retrieve any of the content or information you have shared on the platform.
